Seriously...the bird on Twitter's logo is named Larry the Bird after NBA legend Larry Bird.
It was revealed by Twitter employee Ryan Sarver that the bird's name is Larry. This detail was confirmed when the Boston Celtic's director of interactive media asked Twitter co-founder Biz Stone.
You see Stone is a Boston Celtics fan and couldn't find a more appropriate name for his bird than Larry.
